No Fonts, Hatching Slow, Annotative Text

Fonts
I normally go to 2 spots and copy that font from machine to machine so i know they have the same font styles in there and then match your machine.
The 2 spots i go to are
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011\Fonts
C:\Windows\Fonts

I will put the same fonts from my machine which has the right font onto others so they have the same fonts. Make sure you copy all the fonts from both folders into the same folders on the other machines. Make sure you dont hit enter to fast as you want to make sure every font gets copied over.

Hatching
In your hatching make sure your Transparency is set to 0 as this can sometime be an issue with speed when doing hatching.

Annotative Text
The first thing you need to do is to type STYLE in the command line and make sure the font style you are using has the annotative box ticked.
Then when you type the font into the drawing a little triangle should appear on the crosshairs so you know it is annotative text. When it does show this you can then click on the text in question, right click and select annotative Object Scale -add/delete scale. This is where when you are in paperspace and you sset the veiwport to a scale say 500, the viewport in paperspace that is the 500 scale will be the only viewport that will be able to see this text. If you want to be able to see it in the 250 scaled viewport you need to add the 250 scale to the text and it will then be seen in the 500 & 250 scale viewports.
