Since Advanced Road Design (ARD) V14, we've been associating Advanced Road Design to a drawing as soon as an ARD command is run. Once this association is made, the -DATA folder (where ARD stores data) is created whenever the drawing is opened and saved. A flag is set in the DWG to specify when the drawing file is an ARD project, and this triggers creation of the -Data folder. If you want to turn this off for a particular drawing (perhaps for your drawing template) so that the -Data folder doesn't keep getting created, run the command arduv7RemoveARDRunFlag for the drawing. Do not start another Advanced Road Design command for the drawing, because that resets the flag back on and a -Data folder will be created. | |
