What are the system requirements for AutoCAD Civil 3D?
For 32-Bit AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013
For 64-Bit AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013
Additional 3D Modeling Requirements
Notes:
- Microsoft® Windows® 7 is recommended.
- Microsoft® Windows Vista® offers better memory management over Microsoft® Windows® XP.
- 64-bit operating systems are recommended over 32-bit operating systems because of the larger amount of available memory for applications.
These requirements can also be found at the Autodesk website: http://usa.autodesk.com/civil-3d/system-requirements/
Note: Slow performance of AutoCAD Civil 3D has been observed for users with quad-core processors. It is advised that you disable some processor cores in the BIOS. How many cores you should disable will differ, some users have reported success disabling only two cores, others have needed to disable three of the four cores in order to reach satisfactory levels of performance with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
What are the system requirements for Advanced Road Design/Stringer/Site Leveller?
Advanced Road Design, Stringer, Site Leveller and all other applications, as addons to AutoCAD Civil 3D, do not have any system requirements additional to those listed above.
