Text Orientation on ARD Long and Cross Sections

You plot long and/or cross sections from ARD and all the text is horizontal instead of rotated at 90 degrees.

The software grabs the current Text Style to create text in the output.  When the selected Text Style is set to be Annotative, the text cannot be rotated in a layout.  The end result is that the text is generated horizontally.

This can be fixed by:

  • typing Style at the command line
  • either selecting a text style that is not annotative, or
  • UNTICKING the option Annotative (located under the heading Size) for the current text style

When you next publish long sections the text orienation will be corrected.
