Clicking on File > Open doesn't open a form for me to select a file.

This can happen whenever Civil 3D closes unexpectedly.  A variable gets flicked back to 0 (do not display forms).

If this happens, when you go to open a file there will be a prompt at the command line to select a file to open.

You can fix this problem by:
- typing filedia at the command line and pressing [Enter]
- typing 1 and pressing [Enter]

This will set for forms to display when opening files.
