Traverse Editor - Stringer
Posted by Jason Coghlan on 03 April 2012 09:01 AM
When doing a traverse and you use the Traverse Editor to adjust it you have to adjust it in separate parts.

e.g. You have the main traverse that you adjust first and once this has been adjusted you then move all the branched traverses back onto the same points but in the adjusted spot. If you then need to adjust those you then adjust those after that.

When finished you have 2 choices:

1. In Stringer Connect you can leave the drawing open that has all the adjusted points in and use the GET CONTROL FROM AUTOCAD function in the Control Options Top left of the Stringer Connect Display
2. You can create a CSV file by creating a Point Group with just the Traverse points in it and right clicking export points (PENZD Comma Delimited)

Note: The point numbers from the field need to match the point numbers in the drawing or in the CSV file for it to be adjusted properly. This will only change the Red Co-ordinate points in the Stringer Connect Display.
