Automatic Multiple Coding
Posted by Jason Coghlan on 26 November 2013 11:49 AM
One of the commands that we have in Stringer is an Automatic Multiple Coding function which will add the code of the 1st point onto the code of the 2nd point for multiple coding of the second point.

This is quite handy if you have a top and toe that join into each other and you want to add the top to the toe by using this command. I normally use this command at the end of 2 lines that i would like to join at 1 point. One thing you need to be careful of is using this command when you want to join a string to middle of another string because when you hit Join All Codes the strings can go out of order and you have to try and get it to look how you want. The best rule of thumb for these issues is to remember that this command was made for lines intersecting at the ends of Strings.

It does a really good job on driveways and footpaths as well.

Have a go at it and let me know what you think
