"ERROR: ServerName.txt not located" when running a Stringer command

Q: I have installed a standalone version of Stringer 2010 but when I run a command I get a message saying "ERROR: ServerName.txt not located". I have a Windows 64-bit operating system.

This bug was fixed in Stringer 2010.02. It is recommended you update to the latest version at the Subscription area (Support -> Subscription).

Go to the C:\Program Files folder, make a folder called "CADApps", and then copy the FlexLM folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\CADApps (note the slight difference in name of the Program Files folder) to the other CADApps folder.

If you are not using 64-bit Windows 7 or the above does not work, please create a file called "ServerName.txt" in the C:\Program Files (x86)\CADApps\FlexLM folder. This file needs to contain the word STANDALONE to indicate its licence type. You may need to copy this file to the FlexLM folder created earlier at C:\Program Files\CADApps.
